WE SUPPORT
Legal Resistance works with:
-
Palestinians who live in the West Bank, Gaza and Israel/Palestine '48
-
International and Israeli activists in Palestine
-
Legal proceedings and tribunals against Israel's human rights violations
-
Global campaigns and direct actions in support of Palestinian rights
What we do
We provide face to face legal aid to Palestinians whose rights are violated by Israel. In doing so, we aim to both challenge this system and support Palestinians who struggle against it. We deal with a wide range of legal cases that arise from the occupation while following the model of a joint struggle of co-resistance.
How we do it
We resist Israeli occupation and apartheid through legal means, drawing inspiration form the legal and political struggle against Apartheid in South Africa. We therefore contest the unlawful practices committed by the Israeli secret service, military and police.
Who does it
Our projects rely on volunteers with diverse backgrounds and skill sets. Our volunteers travel regularly to the West Bank to interview clients, investigate cases and obtain first hand evidence in the field, proving Israel's lack of compliance with International law.
